*Henry (Hank) Ahlers ('40) received the Plymouth County Farm Bureau Service to AgricultureAward.
Mary Ann Ruether ('63) elected as the 2015-2017 Province Director for the Province of Dubuque,  which encompasses the state of Iowa.
*Tony Roeder ('92) works in Banner Thunderbird Hospital in Phoenix, AZ.
*Joe Loutsch ('04) was selected by the Iowa Girls High School Coaches Association to coach a Senior Showcase basketball team for class 1A. It will be held on April 2, 2017 in Cedar Rapids Iowa. Joe is currently coaching at Lawton-Bronson for the girls basketball team.
*Joan Wendl Thomas('62) just realeased a new book titled "Baseball in Northwest Iowa". Her book features baseball from 19 northwest Iowa counties in the book filled with pictures and nuggets of baseball information. 
*Joe Loutsch (’04)  was selected by the Iowa High School Girls Coaches Association to coach the Iowa Class 1A Senior Showcase Basketball Team. The game was a reward for the outstanding senior girls to play in a college setting and was held at Kirkwood College in Cedar Rapids, IA. 
*Kathy Nuebel Kovarik ('94) was named Chief of the Office of Policy and Strategy for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services in early April.
*Andy Neary ('06) is owner of Neary Designs & Consultants. Andy's business does engineering work to make people‘s ideas a reality. Neary Designs specializes in piece part design and industrial coating. Andy donated a metal yard sign with the school's logo to this year's Friends of Gehlen Catholic Ball. 
*Mike ('82) & Chris Ryan donated a 3 dimensional Iowa Hawkeye sign, perfect for any "Man Cave" to this year's Friends of Gehlen Catholic Ball. 

Newlyweds:

*Brock Nohava ('15) and Allison Hansen ('15) were united in marriage on Aug. 5, 2017.
*Eric Loutsch ('11) and Joshlynn Stouts were united in marriage on Aug. 12, 2017.
*Melissa Kellen ('09) and Josh Hansen were united in marriage on Aug. 12, 2017.
*Bonnie Driscoll ('03) and Nick Racz will be united in marriage on Oct. 15, 2017.
